Health & Wellness Events for 2019
This list contains a mix of conferences and events including those intended for health and well-being general interest as well as other events specifically designed to support cancer survivors. A few of the conferences have more of a professional focus, but do welcome anyone who wishes to attend for personal interest. Unless noted as free, these events have an associated fee to attend.
PIERCE COUNTY CANCER SURVIVORSHIP CONFERENCE (FREE)

WHO SHOULD ATTEND - ”The Pierce County Cancer Survivorship Conference is an annual event to support and celebrate the community of cancer patients and survivors in the South Sound." Sessions are available throughout the day which explore topics supporting cancer fighters and survivors.

A weekend of rejuvenation of the mind and body in downtown Durham. Duke Integrative Medicine is one of the sponsors for this event and will have coaches conducting workshops on mindfulness, nutrition and fitness.
Living with Melanoma Symposium (Free) - AIM at Melanoma Foundation
WHO SHOULD ATTEND - "Beginning in 2010, AIM at Melanoma began partnering with nationally renowned cancer centers across the United States to provide patient-friendly information on new developments, innovative advances in melanoma treatment options, and emerging therapies."
